QUALIFICATION and skill for Guahati University Recruitment 2020

Librarian:

1. A Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with a minimum of 55% marks or constant grade during a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed.

2. A minimum of 10(ten) years as a Deputy Librarian in University Library or 10 (ten) years of teaching as professor in liberal arts during a University Department or 15 (fifteen) years’ experience as a school Librarian.

3. Evidence of innovative library services, including the combination of ICT within the library.

4. A Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping and a complete research score of 120 as per the UGC recent requirement.

Deputy Librarian:

1. The candidate must have a Master Degree in library science/information science/documentation science, with a minimum of 55%marks or the same grade in a very point scale. wherever the grading system is followed.

2. 8(eight)years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.

3. Evidence of innovative library services including integration of ICT within the library.

Estate Officer:  B.Tech/BE degree with a Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Essential Experience: Practical experience of 5 (five) years in Estate Management preferably in an exceedingly reputed educational institution/organization. Persons must have proven skills in maintaining proper records of land, building, residential quarters, and other assets, both movable & immovable.

Age: shouldn’t be above 38 years on the last date of receipt of application.

Manager, GU Press:  Candidate should be Graduate with a degree or Diploma in Printing Technology with a minimum of 5 years of experience within the management of a press and proven knowledge of Computer Application.

Age: Not more than 45 years on the last date of application.

Project Accounts Officer:  The candidates must have a Master Degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accountancy (Hons) or Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a minimum of 55% of marks

Experience: Adequate experience of management of University/Educational Institution Finance and Project etc. for a period of not but 15(fifteen) years.

Desirable: Persons already serving in University/Educational Institutions are preferred.

Age: Candidates mustn’t rather be above 50 years as on the last date of application (Age could also be relaxed just in case of suitably qualified and experienced persons)

Secretary to the Registrar:

Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% of marks with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application with Minimum 3(three) years of experience of office management and secretarial work preferably in University/ establishment.

Desirable: Diplóma on Stenography.

Age: shouldn’t be above 38 years old as on the last date of receipt of application.

Security Officer: The candidates must have aBachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks Experience or its equivalent Grade B’ within the UGC 7 point scale.

Desirable Experience: Should be a released Short Service military officer or serving per se after having completed his/her initial period of assignment of 5 years of military service and whose case the Military of Defence issues certificate that he/she would be released within 3 months of selection and from the date of receipt of a proposal of appointment or CRPF/Central or State Police/CISF/Para Military/BSF personnel with arms license and will have discharged responsibilities in Government/Educational Institutions of repute.

Age: mustn’t be above 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

How to Apply for Guahati University Recruitment 2020

1. The candidates may download the applying form from the official website. Application in the other form won’t be accepted.

2. Application fee & last date Candidates are going to be required to pay an amount of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only and just in case of SC/ST Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only by Demand Draft in favour of the “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch as an application fee for the post. Completed applications within the prescribed form together with necessary enclosures must reach “The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14” latest by 14th August 2020. Two copies of the applying with all testimonials are needed to be submitted.

3. Those are working should submit their applications through proper channel or must submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer.

4. Attested copies of Mark-Sheets, credentials, Educational Certificates and skill Certificates, etc. must be attached to the appliance. Incomplete applications or applications without relevant enclosures are going to be rejected.

5. Candidates if found indulging in canvassing in any form are disqualified.

6. Candidates will must appear before the choice Committee for an interview on their own when immersed. Mere cost fulfillment of educational qualifications won’t entitle a candidate to be caught up an interview. The University reserves the proper to try to to necessary shortlisting as deemed it.

7. In relevancy post no. 3 and seven advertised earlier vide advertisement No. NTS-5/2018 stands withdrawn and therefore the applicants who applied earlier for the said posts may submit fresh applications (if eligible) without the appliance fee.
