Selection Process for Pilot post in NMPA Mangalore
Recruitment in NMPA Mangalore: Before applying for NMPA Mangalore Pilot Post you need to read the related Terms and Conditions. Candidates will be selected for this job on contract basis. Candidates for this position will be selected through their experience, qualification and walk–in interview.
Initially candidates must prepare the required document to submit while going to the interview. Candidates with the necessary documents can visit the NMPA Mangalore office at Panambur Mangalore before 8th October. Application receiving process started from 9th Feb.

Terms and Conditions to apply for the Pilot post on contract basis
Recruitment in NMPA Mangalore: Before applying to the Pilot job in NMPA, candidates must go through the terms and conditions which are given by the authority. We have collected some important terms and conditions and provided them below. Read carefully and also do not miss to check their official notification to know all the given information regarding the job.
- Candidates must know that they will be hired for Pilot jobs only on contract basis.
- Selected candidates must adhere to a Security Bond of three years in the company.
- Appointed candidates must undergo a certain training period. But there is no need to take the training process for someone who has already worked as a Pilot in Port.
- Candidates must adhere to the Working hours in the port while reporting to duty. The Employee Working hours will be divided into two types which are 12 Hours ‘’On Duty’’ and 12 Hours ‘’Off Duty’’ with a weekly holiday.
Gross Salary Emoluments for Pilot Post on Contract Basis
Selected candidates will be provided Gross Salary Emoluments in three categories.
- Training Period Gross Salary- 75,000/- Per Month
- From the date of passing the training exam till acquiring the pilot license – 93,750/- Per Month
- Gross Registered Tonnage(GRT) Upto 20000 – 1,87,500/- Per Month
- Gross Registered Tonnage(GRT) Upto 20001 and Above – 2,18,750/- Per Month
