Job Responsibilities:
• Design and develop plastic trim components for global passenger vehicles
• Develop automotive parts such as bumpers, tailgates, lighting, body claddings, interior trims, instrument panels, and floor consoles
• Interact with client engineers to understand design requirements and execute projects independently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet project deliverables
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
• Lead a team of 2–3 engineers for assigned projects
• Ensure compliance with automotive safety and design standards
Additional Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of product development cycle (NPD)
• Good understanding of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and tooling fundamentals
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards (ECE & FMVSS) is desirable
• Experience in regulatory checks for passenger and pedestrian safety (ECE-26)
• Experience with European or American automotive clients is an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
